[GEM-dev] vertex objects

hi,
there is a vertex folder within gem src (hans pointed me to it), and it
compiles, but I am not sure if the objects are working? I can create
them, but handling and syntax seems not quite clear to me.
is this in development?
I tried
[gemhead]
  |
[vertex_grid]
  |
[vertex_draw]
which gave me a white square in the right top corner
and
[gemhead]
  |
[vertex_model]
  |
[vertex_draw]
which did not draw anything.
