hi,
I can't find the beginning of this thread, so I don't know what you are 
trying to do. can you post a patch?
If you want to try another gem binary, from yesterday, you could grab it 
at http://www.parasitaere-kapazitaeten.net/Pd/Gem_binary, but I am not 
sure, if it will work better.
