[GEM-dev] grabbing video from screen real-time ?

Dear list !

Is it possible to grab some part of a screen in PureData outside the GEM-window and render it in real-time into the GEM-Window ?

There's an object [jit.desktop] in MAX, which does the thing. Is there anything like this in PD ?
