it seems that my computer was on sdl backend by default :<br>

I set it up to use glx as default backend and now it's working as
expected with or without using nvidia card<br>

but could you try using different windowing backends?

also install the gem-plugin-[glfw3,glut,sdl] and use the following
to interactively change the backend:
