Unfourtunatly he's on vacation. Maybe your external directory "chaos"
isn't made writeable for you. AFAIK this has to be done in advance, at
least I asked Günther, to make a footils-directory for me. 

But AFAI also K, the abstractions directory currently is writeable by
all PD-developers. So you could try if you can upload a useful
abstraction there, just to make sure, that nothing is wrong with your
account, ssh  or whatnot...
