[PD-dev] thread locks for arrays

hi miller ...

i'd like to ask you if you intend to add a thread lock for g_arrays ...

i implemented locks to devel_0_37, but since merging them to 0.38 is
nothing that i consider as fun, i'd prefer to merge (or rewrite) them
once (and only once) for 0.38.

i'm using the locks for the threaded soundfiler and possibly vasp might
make use of them, too...

tim ... who is fighing with diff to make since he wants to load
soundfiles without dropouts
