[PD-dev] problem with oss audio layer

hi all,

i'm currently having problems with idle-callbacks in devel if the audio
layer is blocking the main thread...

the optimal solution would be to wait _only_ inside the scheduler to use
the waiting time to execute low priority callbacks.

since i'm not familiar with the oss api, would it be possible that
someone who is familiar with both oss and pd's oss implementation can
help me with that?
