[PD-dev] debugging Tk

The Tcl/Tk Wish.app standalone app which Pd-extended is built upon is  
no longer being released in binary form, so I am trying to build it  
manually.  Basically, it embeds the Tcl and Tk frameworks into  
the .app and points things to look there using a relative path.

I took the code for doing this from the Tcl/Tk Makefile, and as far  
as I can tell, its doing everything exactly the same.  The resulting  
Pd.app loads and runs fine, but none of the prompt panels show up,  
i.e. "really quit?", "Discard changes to this window?".  Nothing  
happens, then you can't close the window, or Pd.

Any ideas as to why?  Or anyway to get debug logs out of Tk to help  
debug this?
