Summary: nextstep writing somewhat broken
Initial Comment:
when writing nextstep files with [soundfiler] (e.g. because you want a range > +-1, or you don't want to limit yourself to 2GB files), i noticed that the data actually get's changed a little bit, by adding 1 sample frame at the very beginning of the soundfile.
this is bad, as you cannot save a copy of the soundfile and be sure that it is an identical copy
(i was using nextstep soundfiles for non-audio data and my data started to get inconsistent!)
