Summary: comport hangs on USB plug disconnect

Initial Comment:
Recently, an long-standing problem in [comport] got fixed, so that pulling the USB plug of a [comport] connected device does not make Pd hang anymore. It seems that change didn't make it into Pd-extended.

This was tested on Ubuntu 12.04 with Pd-0.43.4-extended-20121009
