    <p>Of course, there's also Miller's book "The Theory and Technique
      of Electronic Music", which has some sections about scheduling and
      control streams.<br>

    <p>Personally, I learned a lot from studying both Pd and
      Supercollider (scsynth + sclang), as they have very different
      approaches.<br>
