hello all,

i'm very new to this whole Pd thing have some questions.

would a book written for Max/MSP be good to use to learn Pd? i was
looking through it and have notice that Max has things like sliders and
other GUI things, does Pd have these as well?

should it keep scrolling pd: resyncing audio in the dos window. i'm
running this on win98. hopefully i'll be able to run it on nt4 soon.

why are my doc .pd files messy looking? they come up like there isn't
enough room for everything with things overlapping each other.

can pd deal with multiple midi outputs on the same computer?

thanks,
deno
