[PD] Trouble loading PD under Linux

Hmm. I tried running PD with -noadc and -nodac . Now my computer doesn't
crash, just that specific window. I can ctrl alt F3 to another session.
The message I get now is:
Application Initialization failed
no display name no $Display environment variable.
Any further thoughts?
