[PD] Midi Clocks (Sync to a Oberheim Echoplex)

Hi,

I'm new to pd, and so far I am enjoying it immensely.

I previously wrote a few simple MAX programs.  One of them was basically
a drum machine.  I've written something similar in pd, but I'm not sure
how to send Midi beats or time code so I can sync other things (like
my Oberheim Echoplex) to my drum machine.  Has anyone written something
like the "timeout" object in MAX for pd?  Thanks.
