Hi list, i have a rather basic question (which has most likely already been answered). Sending a message to an object, are all textual elements converted into symbols (and supposedly stored by pd for future recognition)? - and if, is there a way to avoid that? In other words, can text be passed to an object without being processed by pd? thanks, Thomas
