[PD] pd crashed

Hi,

I know this f.... behavoiuor of Win2k. It sooner or later happens to _nearly_
_all_ programms, not just Pd!

Which servicepack do you have installed? For me it happened quite often with the
W2k installation from the original CD. Since I have servicepack 2 installed it
does not happed that often (but now other application crash or just don't
start...). But: it also happens to applications included with W2k (e.g.
Explorer), so I think it's something M$ related.

If you have any other Win-Systems installed / available try to use those to see
if 'your' Pd is causing the problem. If this works, try another servicepack for
W2k. If not, I don't know....

Btw., has anybody experienced this problem using a none-German version of W2k?
Some other strange things on W2k: '=' in messageboxes sometimes disappear, audio
sometimes closes (audio stuck, closing audio - error)...

good luck,

Olaf

PS: try to scoll down the content of the c:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\your
name\Lokale Einstellungen\Temporary Internetfiles in explorer (just move down
the slider on the right hand side), I bet this crashes explorer itselfe with the
same or similar message you get when Pd crashes...
