Hi,

I run Pd on an inspiron 4100 under windows Xp and debian. It's ok, not
got MIDI to work yet under debian, and can't get the alsa mixer to let
me record/sample into pd. Also, beware that the thing does 'irq sharing'
in a big way, which led to a major clicking problem when using a usb
audio interface (to the point that I've given up with it). Don't know if
this is irq sharing problem in general, or with the 3Com network card on
the same irq, or the ATI Radeon on the same irq (!!).

So I'm mainly using pd under windoze with midi from a MOTU fastlane and
onboard sound (not too bad for o/p, dreadful for i/p).
