[PD] open textfiles

hi list,
i would like to add some comments to my patches, which I would like to save
in seperate textfiles.
it seems to be possible to open textfiles in tcl-tk/Pd. if i use the
menu-item "help" - "Pure documentation" i have the chance to open pd-files
and also text-files, which appear in an extra-window. so i think there
should be a message-command to open any textfile in a pop-up window... any
ideas?
