[PD] patch to pd to receive its messages

A while back, Krzysztof Czaja posted a patch on this list that output 
all the messages that pd received from its Tcl GUI and have it output 
to [r #spy].  I was wondering whether there is a way to do a similar 
thing but to get the messages in the same form as they are in a .pd 
file.  I would then like to be able to feed these messages into a 
different pd instance across the network, thereby creating a realtime 
mirror of the patch being created.

Any pointers, etc would be appreciated.
