[PD] samples

i have a question...

i want to do some live sampling during my performance.. but i don't know how
long my samples will be.  i can't seem to find an object that lets me record
a sample without specifying the length.  i don't want to record to the
harddrive, this is for live use.  i want the sample availble for
playback/manipulation immediately.  in max i'd use a buffer~ object.. i'm
looking for some sort of equivalent in pd.  is there a way to have a
table/array resize for live recording?
