[PD] pd-knoppix

Thanks for setting this up. I'm guessing it won't be as efficient as an
HD install, but it seems like something fun to play with till I get my
alsa drivers working on my PlanetCCRMA machine.  

One question though:

when I try to start pd, I whines that it couldn't open /dev/dsp, but the
redhat soundcard config utility worked fine, I could hear the sample
(it's a standard sb16 pci).  My linux geek buddy said it might have to
do with permissions, but without the root password and/or more time, he
couldn't be sure. . .any suggestions?
