[PD] total newbie: making pd work

Hi,

I guess your are on Windows.
There is a pre-installed version of PD with GEM+Zexy+IEMlib(which are  
most famous externals for pd), there:
http://iem.kug.ac.at/~musil/iemlib/
All you have to do is to unzip wherever you want and double click on  
one of the .bat file that fits your system (with/withoutMIDI,  
2or16Ch....).
The .bat file will start  PD without involving any compiling to do.
That way you can start.
