[PD] libGL

Hi,

Almost there, i hope, but still a few questions:

1. Hans, a while ago, you had the same problem when you tried to install
pdp on your machine and you got the following message:

dyld: /usr/local/bin/pd Undefined symbols:
/usr/local/lib/pd/extra/pdp.pd_darwin undefined reference to _gluOrtho2D
expected to be defined in /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.1.dylib

I don't know what your solution was: did you recompile libGL from source
or did you try something else. Following the reply from Tom, he thought
it might be the X11-version. [I didn't use the package of Miller, but
from Yves.]

2.

>cool! but also in addition to what the other guys on the list say, it >should be
>either .pdrc or pd.command
>(this confusion is bc some of us are coming from unix world where the .
>.pdrc
>method is more common)

I have the idea that there are different views on having a pd.command or a .pdrc -file.

My latest version .pdrc looks like this now:
-path /usr/local/lib/pd/extra
-lib zexy:bonk~:choice:expr~:fexpr~:fiddle~:lrshift~:loop~
-lib pique:iem_mp3:iem_t3_lib:iemlib1:iemlib2:pdp:
-path /usr/local/lib/pd/pdp_pidip_osx/doc
-lib pidip
-path /usr/local/lib/pd/pd_pidip_osx/abstractions
-path /usr/local/lib/pd/extra:/usr/local/lib/pd/pdp_pidip_osx/abstractions
-lib /usr/local/lib/pd/pdp_pidip_osx/pdp
-verbose

my pd.command looks like this now:
#!/bin/sh \
/usr/local/bin/pd \

But I think i should remove the last line, cause besides the GLib problem i get also this:

dyld: /usr/local/bin/pd Undefined symbols:
/usr/local/lib/pd/extra/pdp.pd_darwin undefined reference to _gluOrtho2D expected to be defined in /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.1.dylib
/Applications/Pd.command: line 2: 520 Trace/BPT trap /usr/local/bin/pd
logout
[Process completed]

PD quits then.

3.
When pd starts up, and it tries to load libraries / externals, it also tries the path /Users/sara/ for some reason, although it's nowhere defined. [only my pd.command is there, so maybe it won't happen when i remove the last line in my pd.command?]

Those were the questions till now. Hope anyone can help me further.. My plan is to start 2004 with pdp running.. ;)
