Hi,

Hopefully, this is just a newbie question for some of you...

This is a Compaq Armada E500 with Maestro 2E running Debian
Stable/Testing with linux kernel 2.6.0-test11 and ALSA enabled with OSS
compatibility modules builded. Sound is working fine (ie, I can hear
music coming out of XMMS :-)) but I have been unable to get PD running
with adc enabled in this, wanted, configuration.

A little info about PD, more is available if needed...

$ pd -version
Pd version 0.37.0 devel
compiled 09:11:24 Dec 17 2003

$ pd -alsa -listdev -nogui

snd_pcm_hw_params_set_access (input): Invalid argument
Sample width set to 2 bytes
pd: pcm.c:1101: snd_pcm_readi: Assertion `pcm->access ==
SND_PCM_ACCESS_RW_INTERLEAVED' failed.
Pd: signal 6

I did make sure that (chmod +rw) /dev/snd/* accesses were granted.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Nuno Ferreira
