I think my wife's gateway has a control panel that lets you switch this
behavior. Not sure if the dells come with a similar thing.

I've recently aquired a Dell Laptop and it occurred to me that the 
touch pad would make a nice input device. However on further
investigation using "mousestate" I see that it only outputs deltas 
(like a real mouse) rather than an absolute position.
