The Mobile Pre is not supported yet, but the M-Audio keyboards are.
Still there are some M-Audio USB devices that violate the USB
specification and thus will (likely) never work on Linux kernel 2.6.
This is the M-Audio Quattro (tested by myself) and the M-Audio
Audiophile (not tested by me). Other M-Audio devices need a firmware
loader to get working on Linux. Long story made short: I will never
buy a M-Audio USB device again. (Anyone interested in buying my as-new
Quattro?)

I don't know more about Firewire devices than Patrick.
