[PD] newbie :: listing a directory

morning Yannick,

on linux, you can do this (and more) with the [shell] object
from ggee:

[ls(
 |
[shell]
 |
[print file]

should print the contents of the current directory.

<plug>
... as it turns out, I made a random-file-from-directory patch
a while back, and in the course of it wrote a directory-reader
object, available at:

  http://www.ling.uni-potsdam.de/~moocow/projects/pd/readdir-0.01.tgz
</plug>

my random-file patch also uses a bunch of other externals,
and has been known to cause clicks in the audio stream,
but if you're interested, I can send it to you...

marmosets,
	Bryan
