[PD] Still with the GEM!

I just ran up2date, as apt was throwing weird errors. I havent been using 
planet-ccrma\'s builds of thinkgs because he only has FC1 and I am using FC1.9, 
and Im not sure of the differences between the two.
Still no worky-worky though...

package cc is not installed so it must have been gcc.

I tried that at first sign of problem, but I got a lot of underquoted
deffinitions...

Thanks again for your help. This wil be the first time that I would have Gem and pdp built, on my laptop which now almost runs fast enough with 2.6.3 to be usefull in performances!
