[PD] Gemwin crashes my machine completly!

Hi, its me again, your favorite newbe!

I can build gem from cvs no problem, after disabling gltt. I can make a gemwin oject and pd doesnt crash. As soon as I send a create message to gemwin my machine totaly freezes.

My question, what is happening? Where is gem doing me in, or have I misconfigured it somewhere?

Heres my configure line:
./configure  --with-avi --with-ieee1394 --with-x --with-quicktime --with-ftgl --without-gltt --enable-mmx --without-mpeg3
