[PD] MIDI to CV-GATE patch [free smooth.pd included!]

hi,
is there an already done MIDI-to-CVGATE patch for pd?

i was building one yesterday.
i started with basic functionality, then i wanted to add portamento, and
things became more comples (there is the need to implement a stack of
voices, but i still haven't the knowledge to do it)
...
so before to start the dirty job i was wondering if there are any
components that semplify this task.
 : - ?

until now i wrote an "exponential data-smoother", wich i attach as a
welcome (because it is my first post, even if been lurking for a long
while).. hope you like it :)
