[PD] playing midi files

i had the same problem with xeq documentation and gave up with it. if
you use linux i suggest rooting a simple midi sequencer up like seq24.
that has been my latest  conclusion to the midi file problem. it works
like a treat as you can edit on the fly as well.
it is a pitty that no object is as powerful.
