[PD] Midi Loop Recorder Thing

Hi,

attached is a little midi loop recorder and player using data
structures I started while on vacation in Graz. Main patch is
ds-sequencer.pd. It uses fluid~ as a midi note player for my
convenience, but of course it can also play to external midi gear,
other softsynths or your custom Pd patches (however then you need to
take care of polyphony yourself).

Recording is done through [notein] so you should have a midi
keyboard to get the most fun out of it.

The basic idea is to record midi notes into an 8 second time slice
which is played over and over. For orientation a straight quarter note
bass drum can be inserted in advance. The recorded notes are quantized
to settable beat divisions. Except fluid~ - which can be replaced of
course - no externals are used.

Have fun.

Ciao
