what exactly do you mean by "size".
[nbx] only has a "fontsize" (affects both label and number), a "width" 
(in characters) and a "height" (which is really rather a scale-factor 
(size!) of the box (without the number))

you can set everything at your will via messages, as documented in the 
[pd edit] subpatch of the [nbx] help (2nd col, 2nd row)
