[PD] HID BUGGY

[hid] is alpha.  It is stable once you've set it up, but it can be  
very testy when you are setting it up.  I am not a great C coder, and  
the Mac OS X HID API is utterly ugly.

So, I suggest avoiding things that give you trouble, like copying and  
pasting.  Or submitting code to fix those problems. Or wait until I  
debug it...
