i use os x, and have set my system preferences so that the keyboard repeat rate is set to 'never'. i asked this question a while ago, and some people sent patches that used [timer] to limit 're-bangs'. but there always seemed to be stray bangs that sneaked through. if anyone knows a real answer to this question, i am also very keen to hear it. thanks
