[PD] Compil Gem with pix_record

Hello, I am a trainee with Kitchen (Paris) I have just compiled Gem with
the sources of the CVS under UBUNTU.  Gem opens without problem with Pd,
but I have an error, on the pix_record object In the console I have the
following message:  [pix_record]: Gem has been compiled without
pix-recording capabilities!    And I can't succeed to use pix_write,
somebody can show me, how functions the pix_write? I have the following
message according to error: GEM: “Toto00000.tif” Unable to save image.
