[PD] [PD-announce] Pd 0.40-0 released

This version still has the repeating tick on my machine. Sound gets 
dropped and restored again very quickly, about 5 times a second, and 
very regular (like a beat), even on the simplest patch (test), for 
every releases above 3.82. I Tried running it as a new clean user (in 
case it was another program that was interfering), but that didn't help.

This is on MacOSX 10.4.7 on a PowerBook G4 1.67 with 1 GB. 

Anything I can do to try to pinpoint the problem?
