thanks for the reply, but i guess i didn't describe my problem correctly:

- the patch should receive unregular bangs and
- only send one bang x seconds after the LAST bang

.... so: if it doesn't receive a bang for more than x seconds it will send  
a bang.

hope this becomes clearer now.
