[PD] playing video+sound with Gem on Windows

Quicktime is a little tricky, as you have to sync different timebases  
(QTUnits) of playback for different tracks. The XML format ensures  
sample accurate playback for the frame number of the movie you are on  
(it lists the QT rate of each track). Otherwise the two will be out  
of sync. Dead chicken or not, something like that is needed.
