With the Pd-extended installers, you start it from the Start Menu.

Start -> Pure Data -> Pure Data

Pd-extended and Pd vanilla are installed into %PROGRAMFILES%\pd\bin
\pd.exe.

%PROGRAMFILES is a environment variable that varies depending on the
language of the install. Some possibilties:

C:\Program Files
C:\Programme
C:\Archivos de programa

%PROGRAMFILES%\pd\bin\pd.com runs Pd but keeps the CMD.EXE window open.
