Yes, I subscribe to this point of view..

Maybe because there was no Mac port making
it something restricted to some users?

Personally I like the idea of having WxPython Widgets
to interface the PD lower level 
(even if it has to be admitted that a well designed PD
interface is good in any case...) 


This makes me raise another question:
what is, according to your knowledge, that make a 
project to be successful in a "small" environment like PD?


Anyone knows if Mr. Sarlo still around?
