[PD] re bug report on pd not finding files

looks like this is a bit over my head, at least at this point... how does
this work? i don't actually understand the contents of the script, i'm
afraid, and i don't know how to run it--not in the terminal app, it seems.

i'd be happy to look into this with some help, but do take notice of the
fact that this is all new for me.
