[PD] PDP Make Error

Hi Claude,

Thanks - good intuition :-)
Yes, I got much further after installing libgsl0-dev

Now things seem to be choking on
/pdp_imageproc_mmx.o

I'm probably missing another library - I'll do some searching and hopefully
figure it out.

Best,
p

(Just going on intuition here, not using debian myself, and never having
compiled pdp...)

http://packages.debian.org/testing/math/libgsl0

"This package provides the shared libraries required to run programs
compiled with GNU GSL. To compile your own programs you also need to
install libgsl0-dev"

http://packages.debian.org/testing/libdevel/libgsl0-dev

If you look at the list of files you will see .../include/gsl/gsl_block.h

There should be some way in $(distribution)'s package manager to find
out which package provides a given file, otherwise there is the internet
and its fine search engines.

(I use gentoo, but that seems to have "equery belongs existingfile =>
package" but not "equery provides missingfile => package")
