[PD] [PD-announce] fix for [#import_pix], [#export_pix]

I've just committed a fix for [#import_pix] and [#export_pix], that I had 
made a while ago but forgot to commit. It allows those to work with Ruby 
1.8 on OSX, or something.

It's in the GridFlow CVS now.
