[PD] jack

I wonder if jack was enabled during the compile.  I can't really say
whether this is the case now (seems unlikely that it would be compiled
without jack since it's so handy).  Maybe only Hans knows what the
deal is.  Anyway, did you try RC1?  I don't know if there's a
difference.
