[PD] call for PDP testing on Mac OS X

i had the best luck following teh directions on Sevy's site, the installers so far have not worked for me. 

instead of pdp_v4l, osx users should use pdp_ieee1394. 
we need a usbcam object for OSX , macam seems to get it working  for iShenanigans etc..

finally, i gave up on pdp, pidip for OSX and installed ubuntu-ppc on old powerbook and everything works 

point me at rc and i will give it a shot on a clean mac here.
