[PD] Externals - Compilation or Usage Problems

I think helloworld is an external, not a library, so you should either 
run pd from the same directory that contains helloworld, or put 
helloworld into /usr/lib/pd/extra (or add its path to pd's path dialog 
in File->Path...). Then just make a [helloworld] in a new patcher window.
