[PD] [OT] about sexism

I don't think Pd is the problem. It is built and they are coming.
The problem is related to the nature of this community, this mailing
list. I think the large majority of people on this list would like
it to be less hostile and more welcoming. One thing that many
people, male and female, find quite annoying are things like the
recent "about sexy-ism" thread. Women receive many times more of
this attention, and are quite understandably less willing to tolerate
it (i.e. they will not participate in this community, as is pretty
clearly the case).

I am asking no one to censor themselves, I am asking people to find
an appropriate forum for their comments, so we can have an inclusive
list about Pd.

I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and
during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man
for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. - General
