I tried with

pd -lib threadlib

then

threadlib vers.0.1, library for threaded patching and externals
2005, by Georg Holzmann <grh at mur.at>
heavily based on pd_devel code by Tim Blechmann
WARNING: this is very experimental and may crash your patches !

ok.

but sndfiler still not working (same error
/usr/lib/pd/extra/sndfiler.pd_linux: /usr/lib/pd/extra/sndfiler.pd_linux:
undefined symbol: fifo_init
 sndfiler
... couldn't create
)

I like to use your external because ogg files save lots of disk space, and
it's easier to distribute patches with the samples attached...

Why can't pd-extended compile sndfiler ?

thanx
