[PD] Writing -dB or VU level to a TXT File

probably the file is blank because you didn't switched the audio 
computing on... (?)
to start it press ctrl+/, to stop press [ctrl+.]...

maybe you should right click some objects to see how they work... (help) 
. and also read the first audio examples... 
(help->browser->3.audio.examples)
